NEW DELHI: Shri Hari Shankar Singhania, Chairman-BOG, IIM-Lucknow inaugurated the Academic Block of IIML-Noida Campus on Wednesday the 7^th February, 2007.

“In keeping with its vision of becoming a global, socially conscious and integrated centre of learning, contributing towards management development both in India and abroad, IIML-Noida Campus will be the centre of management excellence and march ahead with global tie-ups and world class programmes”, Shri Hari Shankar Singhania said after inaugurating the Academic Block.

The 12th edition of the INDEX was organized on November 25 and 26, 2006 at the Nehru Bal Vatika, Aliganj, Lucknow. Some of the students from IIML Noida Campus decided to visit and see for themselves what Disguised market research is all about. Employees are concerned about the environment they work in, and job satisfaction is a determinant of organizational performance. To study the relationship between Human Resource Management and Job Satisfaction, a survey is being conducted by the IIML-NC faculty. This is a part of the international study on employee job satisfaction.

As a part of the Industrial Lecture series (ILS), students of IIM Lucknow, Noida Campus were delighted to interact with Mario Gasparri, the MD of NHI. In the one hour-long session held on 14th October 2006, the gentleman shared his vision of his organization with the working executives. He also discussed the various steps of the learning curve he had to go through as an expat, who comes from Italy, new to the India business environment. What was equally interesting for the students were the people management efforts Mario had put in as the chief of the organization, and the positive outcomes from the same.

Dear WMPians,

I am sure a good number among us must be willing to participate in various business comepitions being organized by top Indian B-Schools. Enclosed are the various events that are organized on yearly basis. Most of the events have already taken place for the year 2006, but then these can be tracked for next year.

This is a good collection but still more be added into it, and therefore I will request you guys to keep the list updated. Moreover, someone among us can compile such a list for similar International Business Competitions.

Note: - We need to clarify if WMP participants, being part-timers, can actually take part in these competitions.
